As accounting technology practitioners serving the not-for-profit sector we are fairly narrowly focused but do not operate in a vacuum. In order for us to be credible and effective to our clients and prospects, we have to know a lot about the nonprofit and local government environments. We try to keep abreast of current developments by following various information sources, participating in membership and professional organizations, and creating alliances with other groups and individuals that likewise serve our market space.
