The virtual forum in August was a different approach to previous forums. The participation was great and the topics and questions were free-flowing. We primarily focused on the issue of establishing generic one-time vendors for those one-time payments. This would decrease the number of vendor records. During the forum, we worked through the process to demonstrate the functionality and to confirm that an audit trail would be present for the vendor paid.
Please join us on September 20 at 10 a.m. for our next MIP Virtual Forum. This month, we will follow up on additional questions that came up in the forum such as using suspense items in bank reconciliations and unclaimed property reporting.
