To my freezing clients, friends and colleagues back in Colorado, greetings from the tropics. Since being in business and living in Colorado for many years I have always wanted to take a sun break from the coldest part of the winter. This year we did it and to one of my favorite places.
It’s a location that holds a special place in my heart, having lived here in my Air Force days and returning to visit every few years. This time we are ensconced at a beach resort on the southwest part of the island near Guánica. It’s the dry part of the Puerto Rico’s many mini-ecosystems, somewhat off the radar with less than stellar cell phone services and WiFI. I kind of like it that way. So for the next few days we will be relaxing, sightseeing, hitting several beaches, eating seafood, drinking beer, practicing my Spanish and just generally hanging out.
I’ll be back next month with more substantive information for nonprofit financial management that hopefully informs, provokes and entertains. Take a look at the Articles of Interest for this month and the compilation of past articles on our blog. There’s a wealth of information for all levels and interests. Meantime, stay warm.
