The year is more than half over and it has been a whirl wind! I can’t believe it, children will be going back to school soon, and before we know it 2018 will be upon us. In June, I was able to take some much-needed family time. We drove to California, spending a lot of time on the road and making great memories. It too was a whirl wind.
I wanted to take this month’s article to share some reflections on the first half of the year at NFP Partners. The whirl wind has come from, what I think, is some phenomenal growth. What has happened since January 2017?
- We added nine new clients to our long-standing 14 accounting services clients list and doubled our contract hours.
- We are providing transition support services to five organizations while they find the “perfect” finance director.
- We completed a complex Abila MIP Fund Accounting™ Implementation and have begun another implementation.
I think the reliability that accounting services provides, and a solid financial accounting software system in nonprofit organizations continues to be a growing need. Our existing clients are an amazing referral source and we thank you for sharing your relationship with us to others!
SO, how do we handle the exponential growth? We find good, solid, nonprofit accounting staff to add to our team and we have been very lucky to have found staff that fit those characteristics. You were introduced to Mandy Potts, Director of Business Development, last month. I would like to introduce three additional staff which whom you will learn about over the coming months, some of you sooner, as they take on your accounting tasks. We are excited to have Jody Zatorski, Anne Messerli and Whitney Kizer on our team and look forward to transitioning clients from our existing staff Stephanie Underwood, Tracy Sadoff, Katie Sullivan, Lee and me. We are still working to get Lee to the “retirement” hours that he wants. Thank you to the NFP Partners team that has endured the first half of the year, and thank you, Lee, for sticking by to help us during the “up to our eyeballs and beyond” spots.
We value our opportunity to work with our nonprofit organizations, whatever the scope of work. We enjoy getting to know the staff, the organizational missions, and challenges, and working together in partnership to assist their nonprofit in reaching new heights.
Our current and future success is dependent on our customers and we value each of you! THANK YOU FOR PUTTING YOUR TRUST IN US!
