Sage Fundraising 50 has a program called Quick Gift, which allows you to enter gifts in half the time it normally takes.
How does it work?
You enter gifts into the fields on the Quick Gift grid. Each transaction is displayed on a single line. When finished entering all the gifts, simply click the Save button and all the information updates each constituent’s gift card.
Can I modify the grid so it only has the gift fields I need?
Yes. You can modify the grid by selecting the fields you want from the Available Fields box. You can also change the order in which the fields appear.
What about setting defaults for certain fields?
Quick Gift allows setting defaults for each specific field.
What if I entered the wrong information in the grid?
Since all the transactions are displayed on the grid, simply go to the field that needs to be corrected and change it.
What about entering new constituents?
If the Donor Search does not find a constituent, then it will allow you enter a new constituent by displaying a blank Basic card. You can also modify an existing constituent if you find they have an address change.
How much does the Quick Gift cost?
The utility is free. It comes with the Sage Fundraising 50 program. You’ll find it under the Navigator.
Is there a report I can create showing the gifts I’ve entered?
Yes. At any time during or after entry, simply click on the Export to Excel button. All the fields in the grid will be displayed in the spreadsheet.
