Finance and Accounting Consultant
Jessica Taylor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting has worked specifically in nonprofits for over 12 years, serving in various finance and accounting related roles. She was formerly the Finance Director of both the Colorado Children’s Campaign and Invest in Kids, two well-known Colorado child advocacy organizations.
She recently assisted Mile High United Way in preparing for a payroll conversion and in setting up systems for tracking Federal funds subgranted from the organization to over 11 local partners through the Social Innovation Fund.
In 2010, Jessica founded Colorado Nonprofit Financial Peers, a networking group for finance professionals working in Colorado nonprofit organizations, which continues to meet monthly to cover topics relevant to the field and has grown to a membership of over 100 individuals. Jessica has also served on the Board of Directors of Children’s Outreach Project, the Audit and Finance Committee of Community Shares of Colorado, and as Treasurer of the Thornton/Northglenn MOMS Club.
