Laura Jorstad is an accomplished accounting professional, who brings 16 years of nonprofit financial management experience to NFP Partners. Jorstad, who holds a bachelor’s degree in business and healthcare from Concordia College in Minnesota, was most recently the Financial and Grants Management Consultant to a prominent Colorado nonprofit organization. In this role, she selected
and implemented a financial management system, participated in the development of a five-year statewide strategic plan, and developed a $50 million business plan and budget.
Prior to her financial consultant role, Jorstad served in numerous fiscal capacities for the State of Colorado, where she managed multiple employees, provided oversight for grants management systems, oversaw multi-million dollar budgets, and developed processes and procedures for redesigned fiscal systems.
Jorstad has extensive experience with numerous software applications, including COFRS, Financial Data Warehouse, Document Direct and MARS, Sage MIP Fund Accounting, QuickBooks, Access and Paradox.
